Eastern Visayas State University–Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC), in collaboration with the Eastern Visayas Medical Center (EVMC), conducted “Dugtong Buhay: A Blood-Letting Activity” today, April 15, 2025, at the EVSU-CC Mini Gymnasium.

The activity was organized to collect blood donations in support of patients in need of transfusions. It brought together volunteers from the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Carigara and Tunga, Leyte; the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) from Capoocan, Leyte; Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) volunteers; Information Technology On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs); and EVSU-CC employees.

Through this initiative, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to serving the community and promoting the life-saving value of blood donation. The collected blood will benefit patients at EVMC and other medical facilities in need.
