“Achieving Teaching Excellence: Entrepreneurship Department Enhances Curriculum and Syllabus”
To achieve excellence, the Entrepreneurship Department of Eastern Visayas State Universityโ€”Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC), headed by Elvera B. Quilaquil, MM, attended today, 13 January 2025, a โ€œ๐™’๐™ค๐™ง๐™ ๐™จ๐™๐™ค๐™ฅ ๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™จ๐™š ๐™Ž๐™ฎ๐™ก๐™ก๐™–๐™—๐™ช๐™จ ๐™’๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐˜พ๐™ช๐™ง๐™ง๐™ž๐™˜๐™ช๐™ก๐™ช๐™ข ๐™๐™š๐™ซ๐™ž๐™š๐™ฌโ€ spearheaded by the Dean of College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE), Dr. Rose Anna L. Refuerzo, at the NCB Function Hall 2, EVSU-Main Campus, Tacloban City.
The workshop is a periodic institution activity that aims to enhance the course syllabus, a framework to guide faculty in delivering course lessons for the entire semester. In addition to strengthening the syllabus, it intends to improve and update its content to suit the community’s needs.
Moreover, an Academic Review critically examines each course program intended to optimize its learning outcomes. Specifically, it focuses on improving studentsโ€™ learning by defining the strengths and weaknesses, ensuring compliance with standards, identifying gaps within the program, enhancing teaching and learning practices, providing a critical reflection of the curriculum, and providing evidence-based to effective decision-making.
Faculty members from the Entrepreneurship, Office Administration, Marketing, and Business and Accountancy departments from acrossย  ย EVSU campuses attended the workshop.
