Three (3) faculties of Eastern Visayas State University-Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC) have published literary articles in Scholarly Lens, a renowned and established literary publication for educators under Dreamer Publishing Services.
The faculties who have published articles are Instructor Anabelle T. Cerezo, LPT, DPA, of the Entrepreneurship Department, with her four (4) articles consisting of two (2) essays entitled “Combating Climate Change” and “Education and Educating”; one (1) short story entitled “Thank You and We Love You Forever Our Dearest Son”; and lastly one (1) poem entitled “Everything Was Planned But Not Within Individual’s Control”, in which these were included on December 2024 issue of the magazine.
Also, Instructor Glenn Narido, MSci, of the Fisheries Department, published a poem entitled “The River Then” in the November issue. Moreover, Instructor Harby Jan Casino, RFP, published his poem “Alon ng Pag-asa” in its December Issue.
Before a literary article is published, it undergoes rigorous scrutiny, such as experts’ peer reviews, plagiarism, and AI-generated detection testing. Publication of literary articles showcases the hidden talent of EVSU-CC’s faculties, therefore contributing to the university’s outputs needed for future references.
We are proud to announce that published literary articles made by EVSU-CC faculties were part of the one hundred seventy-four (174) literary works that passed the peer-review process, plagiarism, and AI detection test from over 500 submissions (500) from across the Philippines. Congratulations to these faculties who have achieved another milestone in their career!
