The Eastern Visayas State University–Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC) Sports Team displayed remarkable athletic skills during the sports events organized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carigara, Leyte, on January 21–22, 2025.

The EVSU-CC Volleyball Eagles advanced to the Cross-Over Games scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2025, following impressive victories against Carigara I in Game 2 and Carigara II in Game 6.

This participation highlights EVSU-CC’s commitment to building strong partnerships with local communities and stakeholders, fostering collaboration to enhance its institutional mission.

The Volleyball Tournament was organized and initiated by the LGU of Carigara, led by Hon. Mayor Eduardo T. Ong, Jr., as part of the town’s 454th Founding Anniversary celebrations.
