Education Department Empowers PDLs at Carigara BJMP with  Mastery in Mathematics Skills

Carigara, Leyte–   Empowering Persons Deprived with Liberty (PDLs) through teaching them subtraction skills, the Education Department of Eastern Visayas State University-Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC) conducted an extension activity on “Building Strong Foundation: A Step-by-Step Guide to Mastering Subtraction Skills” at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) headed by SJO3 Jennylind L. Tante, Chef Warden, on Wednesday, 8 January 2024.

The extension activity conducted is an initiative of the Mathematics Unit of the Education Department led by Mr. John Niño Pallan, Project Leader of Project N.U.M.B.E.R.S. (Numeracy Upliftment for Meaningful Basic Education and Rehabilitation Support), anchored on Program H.O.P.E. (Holistic Opportunities for Personal Empowerment).
