𝙏𝘼𝘾𝙇𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙉 𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙔— Moving toward a more efficient and streamlined procurement process, Eastern Visayas State University-Carigara Campus (EVSU-CC) transitioned to digital procurement by adopting the Virtual Store (VS) system under the 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐦𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐆𝐄𝐏𝐒) on March 25, 2026. Held at the Regional Office of the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), the orientation was facilitated by Ms. Suzette Arnie Linaran, ADAS II, and attended by key campus personnel including BAC Chairman Jose Ivan J. By utilizing this 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 “𝐚𝐝𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐭” 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, , EVSU-CC prioritizes transparency and accountability through real-time tracking of pricing and stock availability. The adoption of the Virtual Store is expected to eliminate lengthy manual canvassing, provide better financial control via an integrated 𝐞-𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 for faster payments to the PS-DBM, and ensure automatic compliance with 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝟏𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟗 and GPPB resolutions. Ultimately, this advancement reinforces EVSU-CC’s commitment to its “Smart Campus” initiative by leveraging digital tools to improve both internal operations and frontline services.
